Install this new calibration file into the ECM (following step 4 above) using MasterTune-HD, record new VTune Data with DataMaster-HD (step 6), and use VTune-HD to calculate new calibration (Step 7). Choose “Accept” and generate the new calibration file. The new calculated EV tables (for front and rear cylinders) will display indicating a range of calculated changes. Select the calibration file loaded in the ECM and the VTune data file recorded in the last step and generate Tune. Use VTune-HD to generate a new calibration map. Run TTS Software Updater to ensure the most current software version. This is my attempt at piecing one together. What I did not find was a simple step-by-step guide to getting a basic tune. It is recommended that you read through the help files before getting started. In the hands of an expert, using the MasterTune and a dynamometer, the performance benefits of the hardware modifications will be maximized, but with some knowledge, reading through this forum and the help files included with the TTS MasterTune product, the user will be able to do their own tune that may be quite satisfactory. There are options, such as modules that are installed to change the signal between the ECM and fuel injectors, but using the MasterTune product you can reprogram the Delphi EFI controller directly. If like me, you opened up your intake and exhaust and maybe installed some other performance modifications, you now need to recalibrate the ECM in order to get the engine to run the way it's supposed to. I am not associated with TTS in any way, but if this discussion helps me to understand this product better, I am sure others will benefit as well.
